Middle School News
Year 3
In the Year 3 classrooms, we've been delving into the states of matter through engaging, hands-on activities. During Thursday's lesson, the students explored the concept of melting by observing the different melting times of marshmallows, crayons, and chocolate. This experiment allowed the students to see how various substances respond to heat and change from solid to liquid.
Olympics Themed Day
Last Friday, the students took part in a tabloid Olympic sports day and had an amazing time. They enthusiastically participated in a variety of activities, including relay races, volleyball, badminton, and even some creative colouring-in sessions. Additionally, the day included well-being activities, which added a fun and balanced approach to the event.
Year 4
In preparation for communion next Thursday, the students have been learning about different types of bread in R.E. So far, they have made leavened bread and cob loaf, engaging in hands-on baking activities. Alongside these lessons, the students have been practising at church, and deepening their understanding of the significance of communion.
If you child has a reading on the evening of Communion please make sure they practice their lines at home in prepearation.
