The Science Talent Search has closed for 2024 and we are proud to share some of the talent of the 18 students who participated. Entering the competition requires coming up with an idea, inquiring into the topic and then using the information to create your entry.

2024 ICAS Assessments
We’re delighted to inform you that we will be participating in ICAS again this year, to recognise and reward students’ academic achievements. Testing dates will commence in Term 3. You can learn more by visiting icasassessments.com.
NB: The assessments are offered as an optional activity for students who are interested in participating.
ICAS is designed to target students’ higher-order thinking and problem-solving skills in English, Mathematics, Science and Spelling.
Each assessment celebrates students’ accomplishments by providing opportunities for recognition. Every student will receive a certificate and an online result report. Top performers will be eligible for medals and are invited to attend special award ceremonies to have their academic excellence publicly recognised.
The assessments are suitable for students wishing to extend themselves academically and take up the personal challenge of competing in an international assessment. Your child will be presented with high-quality, expert-developed questions, allowing them to apply their learning without the need for prior study or revision.
The final dates for the competitions are still being finalised, however the tests will be held within the following weeks and be supervised in classrooms by a year level staff member:

Permission and Payment Information
You can now pay for ICAS online! To confirm your child’s participation, visit https://shop.icasassessments.com/pages/pps and enter our unique school code JTL268 to make a direct payment to ICAS Assessments. Each competition is priced at $19.95.
