School Captains
Hey everyone!
Welcome back to our School Captain's Report. How exciting is it that we are already a fortnight into Term Three! This year has already gone by so fast! We hope everyone enjoyed their holidays. Whether you visited your family and friends, or went overseas, we hope everyone was safe, healthy and happy.
Although we still have a few months to go till Term Four, we hope everyone is having fun and has settled back into the school routine.
Last week on Friday, the Year Sixes went to the Chinese Museum, to learn about the waves of migration to Australia. For that reason, we were also given a tour of Sandridge Bridge, and the different statues at the bridge and what they symbolise. We were then given a mini tour around the city, to learn about the rich history of some of the oldest buildings in Melbourne. We even went to Flinders Street! Overall, the tour was a great learning experience. We arrived only a few minutes before assembly started that Friday, as you may have remembered me, Saanvi, running into the gym... breathless!
Today, the Foundation cohort celebrated their 100 days of school! What a great milestone for these little superstars. We hope they enjoy their special day.
We finally have our toilets up and running. These ones are so much better than the portable toilets. Let's make sure that we use them appropriately, and not misuse them, to make sure that they last.
To the teachers and parents, have a great night at the Trivia Night tonight, and we hope you enjoy the fun.
We would like to also point out that Hoop Time has started. Both of us, School Captains, are coaches during Hoop Time. Training will be held either in the gym, or in the lower basketball court. Be sure to check out your fixture to see when you have your training. We hope that for those that are participating, you try your best.
Finally, we are so happy to see everyone again, and we hope everyone has a great weekend, and we look forward to seeing everyone back at school!
From your School Captains,
Harry and Saanvi
