Mr Ru Lameijn - Deputy Principal & Religious Education Leader

Dear Parents and Carers,

Congratualtions to our First Eucharist Students

Congratulation to Rosie, Nahier, Cesafino, Georgia, Charlie and Muorkor for their First Eucharist. We were very lucky to celebrate with you on Sunday during the Feast of St Ignatius Parish Mass.

Thank you to all student for celebrating St Ignatius Feast Day

We had a wonderful day yesterday, when we celebrated St Ignatius and St James' feast Days. Our excursion to Ignatius church was wonderful and all our student did a fantastic job during Mass. All our classes had an opportunity to have a look through the church after Mass and Father Trung SJ surprised them all with a yummy snack. Thank you to all the parents who helped us walk to and from the church.

After our walk, lunch and playtime, we gathered as a community in the MPR. Then, the students participated in our 'passion lessons'. Teacher taught a lesson that they are pationate about. Zumba, Lego, Art, touch Rugby, karoake, comic strip drawing, storytime, origami and hockey were offered for an hour long lesson.

In the afternoon, after our sausage in bread (Mr Rodrigues did the dishes), our house leader ran a session with the houses. They covered things like: What does my house name mean? Designing a House shield or banner and the students learnt a chant.

Thank you to all students, parents, teachers and staff for a wonderful celebration for the Feast of St Ignatius.

Kinds Regards,
