Prayer: A Prayer for Peace

Lord Jesus Christ, You are the true King of peace.

In You alone is found freedom.

Please free our world from conflict.

Bring unity to troubled nations.

Let Your glorious peace reign in every heart.

Dispel all darkness and evil.

Protect the dignity of every human life.

Replace hatred with Your love.

Give wisdom to world leaders.

Free them from selfish ambition.

Eliminate all violence and war.

Amen

Dear Families,

I am sure many of you are watching the Olympic games with much enthusiasm and excitement. As we know, the Trinity School Community is such an incredibly diverse community and therefore no doubt our hearts may often be with countries other than Australia but of course when Australians are on the podium and we hear that national anthem then I'm sure we all feel a collective pride in being Australian and can share in our countries successes. The Olympics were in deed about using sport as a way of bringing countries together in a spirit of peace and community. Sadly, occassionally politics can distract us from their true meaning and purpose and so we must remind ourselvers that these games should be a symbol of unity for people from all over the world.  At school our teachers are enabling students to learn about the games and the importance of seeing this huge event as a means for further developing our understanding and appreciation of people from countries other than Australia.

Farewell Mrs Boffa

A reminder that tomorrow Mrs Boffa will be joining us for a farewell assembly in the MPR from 2:45. If families can arrive a little earlier that would be great so that we can all start on time. I know she will be here with a mix of excitement at seeing everyone again and of course a touch of sadness as she finally farewells her friends at Trinity. Thank you all for your generosity and help to ensure tomorrow will be a very memorable day for Mrs Boffa.

Prep 100 Days

A big thank you to our Prep teachers, Ms Shari, Ms Kate and Ms Anna as well as our Learbning Support Officers who ensured our Prep 100 days celebration was a very special day for our children. Thankyou also to each of their parents who organized amazing costumes and dress ups which really added to the colour and fun of the day.
