Mid Term Break
Monday 26 August is a mid-term break day and there will be no school for students. We look forward to seeing your children on Tuesday 27 August for classes as usual.
Atomi information evening for families
All families are invited to an information evening about Atomi, a platform Chevalier College has adopted to enhance learning across Years 7-12.
Initially introduced for Years 11 and 12 to support the Best Use of Time Model, Atomi will now be trialled for Years 7-10 to help build essential skills that prepare students for success in senior years.
Building confident, independent learners with Atomi:
Atomi equips students at Chevalier College with valuable support in three key areas:
- Curriculum-aligned content: Atomi provides precise, syllabus-specific videos and quizzes that closely align with classroom learning, ensuring students stay focused and engaged with the material they need to master.
- Foundational skill building: Starting in Year 7, Atomi emphasises the development of essential academic skills, including effective study habits, time management, and exam strategies, which are vital for thriving in senior years.
- Tailored HSC preparation: Atomi’s content progressively intensifies each year, building students’ knowledge and skills. As students enter their senior years, Atomi offers advanced content and tools specifically designed to support their success in the HSC exams.
For more details, please view the Atomi flyer and watch the student video walkthrough for your child’s year group.
Evening focus:
Our Atomi School Success Senior Partner, Claire Johnson, will provide valuable insights into how you can support your child in developing strong study skills from Year 7 onwards.
Claire will also cover the specific HSC resources that can make an immediate impact on your child’s final exam preparation.
Event details:
- Date and Time: Thursday, 29 August, 7:00-8:00 PM
- Location: Sacre Coeur Centre Chevalier College
We look forward to seeing you.
