Dear Families,

Welcome back to the new school year! It has been truly exciting to welcome our new families, students, and staff into our school community. The energy and enthusiasm around the school has been wonderful to see as we begin the new school year together.

The return from the holidays was smooth, and I would like to extend our thanks to all parents for your support and understanding during the recent adjustments made to classes, particularly for our Years 1 and 2 students. Your cooperation has made the transition seamless for everyone involved.

Last Wednesday, we had a sensational swimming carnival in partnership with Goulburn East. Congratulations to all our students who competed in both the competitive 50-metre events, relays and the fun novelty events. Every student demonstrated our school rules by being Ready, Respectful, and Safe throughout the day. A special thank you also goes to the students and staff at Goulburn East PS for sharing the carnival atmosphere with us—it truly made the day memorable.

Our parent-teacher meetings started last week and have continued this week. These meetings are an invaluable opportunity for staff to gain insight into your child’s strengths and areas for growth. We appreciate your involvement and collaboration in supporting your child’s learning journey.

It has been wonderful to see all students proudly wearing their full school uniform each day and school hats during break times. This not only creates a strong sense of belonging but also helps keep our community safe in the sun.
