What a busy and productive time we have had at school since our Week 4 newsletter! Our students have been involved in a wide variety of academic, sporting, and spiritual activities that showcase the busy life of our school community.
Partnerships in Learning: Thank you to all the families who attended our Parent-Teacher Nights. These conversations are vital for student success. Also our Kindergarten parents have met with the Kinder teachers for the Best Start Interviews.
It has been a wonderful to have our parents come to the classrooms!
I would like to thank the staff and parents for their ongoing support in making these opportunities possible for the children.
"Peace begins with a smile." — Mother Teresa
Let us pray that we carry the light of peace into our homes and communities, remembering that small acts of kindness at school can ripple out to change the world.
Amen.
The Diocesan swimming carnival was last Friday, 27th February in Inverell. Our eight students who qualified had a fun day with four students going through to Polding: Shana, Harriet, Sofia & Florence. Congratulations to all our swimmers! A special mention goes to Harriet, who was named Runner-up Junior Girl. What a fantastic effort!
Thank you to the parents for taking the children to Inverell.

We would like to wish our students GOOD LUCK in their NAPLAN tests.

The National Assessment Program Literacy and Numeracy (NAPLAN) tests will commence next week on Wednesday for all students in Years 3 & 5, and continue until March 23.
The assessments are an opportunity for students to demonstrate their learning. Along with their classwork, teachers use these results to meet the individual literacy and numeracy needs of all students. There are four tests covering Writing, Reading, Conventions of Language (spelling, punctuation and grammar) and Numeracy.
Further information for parents and carers can be found here:

Sunday, March 8th, International Women’s Day—a global celebration of women’s achievements and a call for continued gender equality. It is the perfect time to pause and acknowledge the profound impact women have in our homes, our local communities, and around the world.
Let us all take a moment to express our gratitude to the remarkable women who inspire us every single day—our mothers, grandmothers, sisters, teachers, and friends. By working together, we can pave the way for a more inclusive and supportive future for all.
