5/6 News

It has been a busy time for the 5/6s lately! We have settled into our class routines and got to know our classmates.

In our lessons, we have started learning about Australian History between 1800-1900 this week. In Maths, we had fun creating structures with MAB and working out the value of them. In reading we have been making connections while reading different texts and practised using commas in our writing. We have also been doing Friendology lessons, learning about Friendship Fires and the Friend-o-Meter. 

Last week, we enjoyed the Smoking Ceremony at Mullauna College and seeing our Grade 6's receive their Captains badges at Assembly. The Grade 6's also did peer mediation training this week!

We're looking forward to another busy few weeks with lots of exciting events, like Athletics, Footsteps Dance and Cyber Safety Project coming up soon!
