Years 3 - 5

In the 3-5 classroom, students have dived into the class novel The One and Only Ivan, exploring the theme of wild animals living in captivity and discussing the choices and emotions of the characters. In Maths, we have been refining and expanding our place value knowledge, applying our understanding through engaging, game-based learning activities.

Our creativity is also on display as we prepare a variety of art pieces for the upcoming Red Gum Festival. Students have been developing their skills in using watercolours and experimenting with different techniques. In PE, we have focused on skipping skills, with students designing and performing their own ‘skipping routines’ for their peers.

It has been exciting to see students applying their learning across literacy, numeracy, art, and physical activity with enthusiasm and creativity.
