School Office
Dear MEPS Parents,
Update Student Enrolment Information
Last week, you would have received an important email from the school titled ‘Please review the attached Student Enrolment Information’ (Also check your spam/junk folders for this email). Attached to the email is your student’s enrolment information. Please read the email and document carefully. It is essential that we have up to date student information particularly emergency contact information.
If all information in the document is correct, please indicate this on the form. If changes are required, please amend the document where needed and return it to the school (hard copy or by email : mount.eliza.ps@education.vic.gov.au). Please return the form by no later than Wednesday, 25 February 2026.
Parent/Carer Volunteer Documentation Requirements – 2026 School Year
If you would like to volunteer your time in 2026, please note that we are resetting all volunteer documentation processes. This ensures alignment with Child Safe Standards and supports the wellbeing of all MEPS students.
To volunteer, please complete the following steps and email your documentation to the school or provide a hard copy to the office:
• Provide a valid Working With Children Card, or apply for one using the link provided here
• Review the Child Safety Induction Pack - here
• Sign the Volunteer Confidentiality Form - here
To enable this process to work efficiently through the school office, we ask that parents please submit their documentation by Friday 6 March 2026.
Reminders
Please find below some important updates and reminders from the school office.
Attendance: Please ensure students arrive on time each day (before 8:45am). All absences should be updated promptly on Compass. All late children need to report the office after 8.45am to receive a printed late slip. Parents/carers must accompany their children to the office if they are late to school.
First Aid: Please keep students at home if they are unwell. All medication must be handed in at the office with the required forms completed. If your child’s medication changes at any time, please notify the school office or nurse Sarah as soon as possible.
End-of-Day Messages for your child
Before 2:30 pm: If you need to change how your child is going home, please call the office before 2:30 pm so we can let the teachers know.
After 2:30 pm: Only urgent changes should be sent after this time—we might not be able to get non-urgent messages to your child in time.
Having a regular end-of-day plan helps your child know what to expect and keeps things running smoothly!
