Principal's Report

Just prior to the publishing of this newsletter we have some sad news to share with our community. Mrs Jenny Rundle's husband and Mr Jordan Rundle's father, Bernie, has sadly passed away. Our thoughts and prayers are with Jenny, Jordan and their family at this difficult time.
The Rundle family have been a big part of the Cranbourne North community for many, many years, with Jordan having gone to school at Courtenay Gardens himself and Jenny having been a much-loved teacher here for a long time.
I know many of our families know the Rundle family well and will be sharing in our grief. Messages of love and support for the Rundles can be left at the office if you wish and we will pass them on.
Please reach out to us if your child needs support from our wellbeing team.

Welcome back to school and to our first newsletter for 2025. We will continue to publish the newsletter monthly, but important information, dates and notices will always be pushed out on Compass so it is vital you have your details up to date and notifications switched on.
It has been a really smooth start to the year with students settling in exceptionally well to their new classes, including our new preps who are learning that school days are long and tiring! We are so proud of how well they are all doing.
I have included a link here from the Victorian Academy of Teaching and Leadership which has been created for parents all about helping children settle into a new class, including things you can ask, say and do at home to help your child when they come to school.
We have some exciting events coming up already this term, with the students all participating in our start-up celebration day activities on Friday. We also have some incursions, school photos and excitingly our colour fun run on Thursday 6th March! Details are on the events page and will be sent out on Compass.
