Hello PBSS families,
The countdown is on to our Bunnings Sausage Sizzle at the Burleigh Waters store on Sunday 30th March. This fundraising event will raise funds towards 2 important causes:
1. New ipads for classrooms to enable teachers to invigorate student learning via technology, and
2. To increase the number of days our school Chaplain, "Chappy" Evans, works at the school. Did you know Chappy provides crucial support services to our students and families in need? Due to funding, Chappy has had to reduce his days this year.
We still have a few more spots remaining for volunteers to man the bbq tent. To ensure the event is successful, we are calling on parents and relatives to help by giving us just 1.5 hours of your time to cook, serve or take payments on the day. Come on, show off your grill skills!

It's Easter Raffle time!! Don't miss your chance to win 1 of 3 amazing hampers, each valued at over $200. Raffle tickets have been sent home with students and are also available from the Uniform Shop or Office.
P&C AGM (Annual General Meeting) and P&C Membership
The P&C AGM will be held on Monday 24th March at 5:30pm in the staff lunch room. After an amazing year of fundraising in 2024 and hugely successful events, we are excited to welcome new members so we can continue making a positive impact for students and families in 2025.
Together, with your support, the P&C have run the following events and made the following donations:

- Book Fair
- Christmas Concert
- Christmas 24' Raffle
P&C Donations
- $1000 Garden Programme
- $500 for PBSS catering
- $11,000 for a chilled water drinking fountain & bottle refill station
- $600 for new shade gazebos
Without a P&C the above events and donations aren't possible, so please get involved.
As a parent of a student at our school, you are not automatically a member of the P&C. To become a member, please click the below button to download a membership form and submit to the P&C Secretary at pandcsecretarypbss@gmail.com for committee approval.
When you are a member of the P&C and attend meetings, you have the opportunity to address any issues that may arise during the school year which you feel strongly about, and vote on the matter to have your say.
Being part of the P&C is a great way to meet other parents and be involved in fundraising to support the school community. As a member of the P&C you have the opportunity to join the conversation on how funds raised are spent to enhance your child’s school experience.
