Welcome!

Welcome back to all our amazing families and students and a big welcome to our new students and our new Kindies. It was lovely to see the children and no doubt I will see most in the library on Friday. I am excited to take Kinder for a tour of our library on Friday. Next Friday we will begin borrowing.

We're all looking forward to 2025 and another busy year. We love our library and recive many new books each term to encourage and expand your child's reading.

Just a few organisational things to get started and more information will come in future newsletters.

Library Days

All stages library days are Fridays!

All children are to return books each week. Please encourage your child to be responsible for their own library book and to be responsible for packing it each week. Even packing it the night before helps with those morning rushes. I just encourage the children if they wear their sports uniform they pack their library bags.

Once again we aim to have some fun in the library with Book Fairs, authors, Book Week and Simultaneous Reading Time all while continuing to develop your child's love of reading.

The Library is open each Wednesday and Friday at First Break for reading and quiet games.

We are helped in the library by our wonderful aides and the volunteers support of Mrs Sharon Cameron
