NEW - Magnify Sandhurst: Every Student, Every Teacher, Every School, Every Day

Variation in educational practices between schools and between classes, has long been spoken about – both formally and informally. Magnify Sandhurst is an important initiative that has been developed and rolled out in all Catholic schools in the Diocese of Sandhurst, that aims to ensure this variability is negligible.

Magnify Sandhurst combines evidence-based practices in teaching and learning to support each student's unique needs, strengths, and goals. The Magnify program focuses on strengthening core areas like literacy and numeracy, building supportive classroom environments, and integrating Catholic values in daily learning. As a Diocese of educators, we are committed to improving outcomes and providing a program where every student can flourish, inspired by the mantra, "Every Student, Every Teacher, Every School, Every Day!"

Here at Sacred Heart School, we are very well placed to embed Magnify Sandhurst into our current personalised and evidence-based learning programs. Using the latest neuroscience and a structured, knowledge-rich curriculum, we will continue to ensure students build deep understanding and are given the very best learning opportunities which they richly deserve.

Stay tuned for more Magnify Sandhurst updates and photos.

Families a reminder to please bring in your health care card to the office if you haven't already done so, by the end of the week.

Thank you.

This is a reminder for parents and carers to please ensure they are regularly checking emails including their spam folders so important emails from school are not being missed. If there is a change in email address, please update this information with the school office as this is also the login for PAM. Thank you.

NEW - School Fees

School Fee Statements will be sent out at the end of February. Families paying by school organised Direct Debit are asked to complete the Direct Debit Form and return to the school office by 28th of February. A new form is required to be completed each year for auditing purposes. Direct Debits will begin in March.

NEW - Lost Property

We have a number of items located in the lost property which are unlabeled and we would like to have them returned to their owner. Items include swimming gear left over from the swimming fun day in Term 4 last year.

Items left in lost property at the end of each term will be donated to the Op Shop and the Second Hand Uniform Shop.
