Ride2School

National Ride2School Day takes place on Friday 21st March!

We can’t wait and we know that many students are very excited about the day.

Our students will be arriving full of energy after riding and scooting to school.

When they arrive, students will receive a sticker at the gate and then drop off their bike or scooter at the hall.  Afterwards, students choose a piece of fresh fruit and then head off to their classroom. Students will also enjoy a ride around the oval and a scoot on the basketball court at lunchtime!

Last year, many of our students rode or scooted to school, we hope it will be even busier this year! If you have an opportunity to assist us on Friday - morning or afternoon - we’d love you to be part of National Ride2School Day.

On Friday morning (March 21st), we need help from 8.15 a.m. to 9.00 a.m. in two areas:

  • Directing and helping students to place their bikes and scooters into the hall.
  • Assisting in the coordination of cutting and handing out fruit.

On Friday afternoon, after school at 3.30 p.m., it would be wonderful to have a couple of parents ensuring that students take home their own bike or scooter. It’s not difficult for students to get a little confused when they are tired at the end of a busy week!

All parents who volunteer need to have a current Working with Children’s Check.

If you can assist, please reply to us via email:
