VET UPDATE 2025 

Welcome to VET (Vocational Education & Training) 2025!

On Monday our newest VET students were inducted by CEDWW Representative Vanessa Jennings. These students have elected to undertake the VET courses of Hospitality, Business Services and Construction, which are delivered here at Marian Catholic COllege. Students were informed of the VET courses and expectations regarding the pathway that is VET learning. Students were reminded that on completion of a VET course they will have gained a nationally accredited certificate which assists in future employment. Students will be undertaking their mandatory Work placement requirements, thanks to the many local businesses accommodating these upcoming  placements.   

TAFE - Students will be recommencing on February the 19th and 20th 2025, students are to assemble in front of  'A Block' at TAFE campuses on their first day. Students, please check your emails and compass announcements for additional information. 

SBAT- School Based Apprenticeship/Traineeships- The following Yr11 and Yr12 students will be commencing and continuing their SBAT pathway in 2025, working one day a week, and completing their courses as well as their usual school commitments. 

Congratulations to Samuel Foggiato, Bethany Piva and Lilliana Rokov for completing their SBAT last year. And thank you to the employers for offering these wonderful opportunities for our students- we wish them all the best on their new endeavors.
