Over the break, some of our trees were cut back and the branches turned into mulch. Year 4 students have been busy moving them to various locations in the garden. We practised using shovels safely and learnt about the environmental benefits of mulch.
Students will start cooking from Week 3 onwards and we are focusing on food from different parts of the world using seasonal produce from the school garden. The kitchen classes need volunteers, if you are available on Tuesdays or Thursdays between 11.30-1.30, please reach out to Ms. Crossman via email below:
