Intermediate Girls Volleyball

Well done to all girls in the team who had a hard run with Tarneit in their sports pool. See we're able to take the first set as 20-15 but second set, many errors were played from us which we lost 20-14.

Third set was a tight game but with the boy's support of cheering, girls took it and won 17-15.  In our semifinal, we were up against The Grange Secondary College and has a strong fight with great serves from all girls especially Soi and Jorja which took us the lead to 20-18. Second set became a bit messy but again support from the boys and with a service error from Grange.

Finals was against Tarneit Senior again, and this time with the strong bond of not only the girls but with boys cheering, the girls beat Tarneit in 2 sets!

Intermediate Girls Volleyball Report

Our Intermediate Girls team competed in a strong competition, facing off against teams from Bemin, Werribee Secondary College.

The girls started their campaign against Werribee, using the match as an opportunity to build teamwork and cohesion. Bemin proved to be the toughest team in our pool, resulting in a loss. However, in the final pool match, the girls delivered an outstanding performance, securing a dominant 20-4 victory. Manuao was instrumental, serving 12 points, while Farmeny contributed 6 points to the scoreboard. This crucial win earned the team a spot in the semi-finals against the top-ranked The Grange.

The semi-final was a challenging contest, with the girls managing to score points off strong serves. However, The Granges well-structured play and powerful front-court presence led to our defeat in straight sets.

Despite falling short in the semi-finals, the team showed tremendous improvement, teamwork, and determination. The experience strengthened their bond and set a solid foundation for future competitions.
