Community &

Positive Environment

Congratulations to our newly appointed Year Level House Colour Captains for 2025!

These students have been selected for their leadership, enthusiasm, and commitment to representing their house with pride. As captains, they will play a key role in inspiring their peers, organising house colour events, and encouraging participation in school competitions, including our upcoming Athletics carnival.

House spirit is an important part of our school community, and we know our captains will lead with passion and energy throughout the year. Whether it’s in sport, academics, or cultural events, we can’t wait to see them rally their teams and make this year one to remember.

Stay tuned as we introduce each of our captains, but I did have the pleasure of presenting the Year 12 captain with their badges at assembly. I am very much looking forward to working with the team this year.

Holi Colour Run

Our recent Colour Run was a vibrant and exhilarating celebration of Holi, filling our school with excitement, energy, and a spectacular burst of colour! The Year 7 students enthusiastically took part, dashing through clouds of bright powder as they embraced the spirit of fun, inclusivity, and cultural appreciation. Laughter and cheers echoed through the air as students and staff joined together to mark this special occasion, learning about Holi’s significance as a festival of love, unity, and the triumph of good over evil.

Beyond the fun, the event promoted physical activity, teamwork, and school spirit, reinforcing the strong sense of community we value. Watching the students’ joy as they crossed the finish line covered in a rainbow of colours was truly heartwarming. The Colour Run was more than just a race—it was a celebration of culture, friendship, and shared experiences, making it a day to remember for everyone involved! Thanks to all staff and students involved.

Schoolwide Update

Schoolwide is a timetable session that has been running all term on a Tuesday Session 6, focusing on key themes of Engagement and Wellbeing, School Community, and Teaching and Learning. Each session has provided students with opportunities to develop new skills, build connections, and enhance their overall school experience. The rotating themes have encouraged participation in a variety of activities that promote teamwork, leadership, and school spirit.

A big highlight has been the continuous participation in school events. We have seen an increase in students signing up for upcoming activities, demonstrating their eagerness to be involved in school life beyond the classroom.

This week we had some exciting events taking place, including Athletics Sign-Ups for students eager to compete in various track and field and novelty events. Additionally, Year 12 Green House took a group photo which is below and there is also some photos of the year 7s participating in The Longest Jump Competition—a fantastic opportunity for cross-year level engagement and friendly competition.
