News and Reminders
- Assembly this afternoon at 3pm (Friday 15th)
- Year 3 will be hosting our Bake Stall after assembly today. The stall will be set up outside the canteen area.
We would like to extend our deepest condolences to all those affected by the tragic event at Riddells Creek Montessori earlier this week. Our thoughts are with everyone impacted by this devastating event and the entire Riddells Creek community, which has been profoundly affected.
There are resources available in the community for those seeking extra support including:
- Sunbury and Cobaw Community Health, offering free counselling and support services for anyone impacted (all ages in Kyneton and 12+ years in Sunbury): (03) 9744 4455.
- Macedon Ranges Health, offering counselling to the community: (03) 5428 0300
- Red Cross - online resources for coping with a crisis
- Trauma and children (two to five years) - Better Health Channel
- Supporting students after distressing events (school-aged children)

- Our upcoming Prep - 2 Literacy parent engagement session has been moved to a different day and time. It will be now on Wednesday 4th December at 9.15am. Any families of Prep - Year 2 children are welcome to come along to this session.
- Carley McGauran, a psychologist from Inform and Empower, presented to our 2025 Prep families last Friday, 'Ways to thrive, not just survive starting school.' For families that may have missed the opportunity, or current families that wish to learn from Carley's expertise, advice and strategies, please register for the community webinar offered on Wednesday the 27th of November.
