Puckapunyal Spring Market

At the Puckapunyal Spring Market, our Seymour College team brought some engaging and hands-on activities for everyone to enjoy. Miss Gao, our science teacher, introduced interactive science equipment that the children loved exploring. Mrs Ridd helped the kids create fun pom-pom creatures, while Mrs Pyers brought her clay spinning wheel and demonstrated pottery techniques.

Our Defence School Mentor, Kelly Quigg, was also in attendance, and had the privilege of meeting some lovely Defence families.

A special thank you to the Puckapunyal District Neighbourhood Centre (PDNC) and Amelia for allowing us to showcase just a small portion of what Seymour College has to offer. We were grateful for the opportunity to be involved in such a fantastic event!

Remembrance Day Poppy Appeal

Thank you to our dedicated Defence students who took turns and volunteered to walk around the school selling poppies for our Remembrance Day Poppy Appeal. Your efforts are greatly appreciated, and your support helps raise funds for veterans and their families.

If you haven't had a chance to see our school and community poppy project this year, featuring a nurse covered in white poppies and wearing a red poppy shawl, please feel free to stop by the front office and have a look.

The display will be available for viewing for the rest of the week.

If you'd like to get a head start on our 2025 Poppy Project, we’ll be incorporating blue poppies to raise awareness for PTSD. Stay tuned for more details on how you can get involved!
