SPOTLIGHT
YEAR 5
The Year 5’s went to Lake Keepit last week and we had the best time! We enjoyed all sorts of activities such as archery tag, canoeing, raft building and bike riding on the pump track.
The days were long and hot, but we cooled off with a pool party and on the slip and slide each afternoon. Although there was not much sleep the first night (we were just far too excited!) we still had high energy levels and had a blast. It was awesome to witness the teamwork and perseverance students displayed trying new things and their overall positive attitude towards new and challenging tasks. We are incredibly proud of you all!
Many thanks to Ben Tyne, Warwick Stimson, Becky Gibson and Katie Daley for accompanying the Year 5 team to camp.
Fun and hot but it was good to hang out with friends for 3 days.

It was really fun and a challenging experience and I was very surprised by the food.

It was a great experience and I learnt new things like how to use and bow and arrow. Overall it was a welcoming experience and I wish we could've stayed longer.
