Sport and Campus News

Exciting News! A SUPA Club is Coming to Campus in 2025!
We’re thrilled to announce plans for a brand-new weekly SUPA Club (Scripture Union Primary Age Club) on Campus, designed for students from all three schools. The vision is to kick off this exciting program at the start of next year with a team of enthusiastic local Christian volunteers partnering with Scripture Union, the Schools Ministry Network, and Thiele’s Pastoral Care Worker.
What is SUPA Club?
SUPA Clubs are all about creating a welcoming, fun, and inclusive space where primary school students can explore their faith, encounter Jesus through the Bible and prayer, and enjoy exciting activities while building lasting friendships.
We’re planning to host SUPA Club after school on Tuesday afternoons (final confirmation on the day is pending). We’d love your help in making this vision a reality! Whether you’re a parent, part of a local church, or just keen to support this initiative, we encourage you to get involved—or even pass this information along to others who might be interested.
Here’s how you can help:
- Pray: Please join us in praying for the right volunteers and a smooth start to the program.
- Volunteer: If you’d like to be part of the team making SUPA Club happen, we’d love to hear from you!
There is an open meeting on Tuesday, 26th November, at 3:30pm, at Campus, to discuss some of the details. This is a great chance to hear more, ask questions, and see how you can contribute to this exciting new program.
If you’d like to attend the meeting or express interest in helping out, please contact the Pilgrim Front Office.
PE Week
This year’s PE Week was an exciting and action-packed celebration of physical activity and teamwork! Throughout the week, our talented Campus Sports Captains took charge of organising and leading a variety of fun sports and games during recess and lunch breaks. Students from different year levels had the opportunity to participate in mini games, soccer, basketball, netball, footy, and gymnastics activities, which kept everyone active and engaged.
The Sports Captains did an outstanding job running these activities. Their leadership, enthusiasm, and excellent organisation helped make PE Week a great success. They encouraged their peers to get involved, promoted teamwork, and ensured all activities were safe and enjoyable. It was fantastic to see so many students participating and supporting each other, showing great school spirit and sportsmanship. Well done to all the Sports Captains for their hard work and dedication in making PE Week such a memorable experience!

Campus Colour Run
There were lots of laughs and squeals of delight as the children enjoyed the sunny afternoon running laps of the oval getting very colourful for a good cause. With thirty parent volunteers on hand, we definitely were able to make sure the children were thoroughly covered in water and colour. With just over $4,000 raised, we are excited to be able to put this towards the redevelopment of the Campus Memorial Garden and to work on making this space a focal point for the Campus and the wider community.
