If you are unsure about bringing it - leave it at home.
We are very excited to see all of the students hard work and efforts come together on stage! It's set to be a fantastic show!
Concert Costumes
Students are singing and dancing to songs from the iconic Australian artists and bands! This year we are asking parents and students to be a part of the creativity of concert by supplying and sourcing their own child’s costume for the performances.
Below we have outlined what we would like students to wear.
We have focused on the style of garment as well as a few key colours for each year level. If you are unable to source the specific types of garments, please follow the colour scheme! Please note that this a guide and we encourage you to be creative with it!
One of the biggest things to note is that we would prefer NO logos or brands visible on garments if they aren’trelevant to the theme in order to keep some uniformity.
Please note - students do not wear shoes on stage, so these don’t need to be supplied as part of their costume.
Foundation - Green & Gold
- Anything Green & Gold/Yellow in colour
- Pants, Shorts, Skirts (if wearing skirts, please wear bike shorts underneath!)
- T-shirts, Singlets
- Black bottoms if green or yellow cannot be sourced
Level 1 - Aussie Animals
- Dressing up like classic Aussie Animals: Kangaroo, possum, emu, wombat, platypus, koala etc.
- Try to stick to the animal colours of grey and brown.
- Animal ears (could DIY at home!), animal onsie etc.
- If wearing something on their face, students still need to be able to sing and dance
- If you cannot find anything that makes it obvious they are an animal, please stick to the colours of grey and brown.
