PLEASE CHECK WITH YOUR SSLs AS THEY WILL BE MONITORING THIS FOR PLAYGROUND DUTY
Monitoring the UV index at school is important to keep students safe from the harmful effects of the sun. High UV levels can cause sunburn, skin damage, and eye problems, and increase the risk of skin cancer later in life. By keeping track of the UV index, schools can plan outdoor activities at safer times, encourage students to wear hats, sunscreen, and sunglasses, and teach sun-safe habits that protect their health now and in the future.
YOU WILL FIND A POSTER TO HELP IN YOUR CLASSROOM'S PIGEON HOLE
Our First Aid Treatment Room (opposite the admin office) houses the whole school's supplies, therefore, it is locked.
If you have students coming to the first aid room, we have a green treatment kit available for access.
The elected members of the OHS committee can accrue Time in Lieu for the meetings and will be financially acquitted for the TIL.
