Meeting Room 1 -Sound Proofing

The contactors started work on this room yesterday. They will be here for a few more days.  Please minimise the traffic though reception next week e.g. encourage pick ups and drop-offs from Primary gate in Admin carpark.

Schools Upgrade Fund

This week contractors are mapping underground services in the school so they can determine where all underground drainage pipes  are located and the depth below the surface. This  is necessary in planning to improve the drainage in the playgrounds.

Gym

The gym lights have been fixed and made safer. It is disappointing to see ball marks on the ceiling and high around the walls of the gym that are not in keeping with regular intended use of the gym. Please ensure students are supervised in the gym and are directed toward appropriate use of equipment. This is a brand new facility (6 months old) which is showing signs of deliberate damage already. 

Safety in Staff Carpark. 

All carparks in this school have a designated entry and designated exit gate. All carparks have painted arrows indicating the one-way traffic flow. 

This morning I observed one car drive in the exit gate not the entry gate. Then many cars packed along the Landy Rd fence came in the entry gate and did a right hand turn against the direction of the arrow instead of following the road around! Please observe the direction arrows on the ground - they are there for a purpose. Pedestrians' in the car park need to know traffic directions will be followed.
