Yellow Group has made a wonderful start to the year, settling in quickly to our kinder routines and displaying an enthusiasm for learning. Children worked together to create a classroom agreement, exploring Green choices (desirable) and Red choices (undesirable). Children have displayed great fascination in butterflies, following the large number of cabbage moths in our yard. We have extended on this interest by creating butterfly artworks, reading books and exploring the life-cycle of the butterfly. Our kinder groups are currently working on a collaborative art piece for the Begonia Festival competition depicting a spotted quoll. We would love it if families could view and vote for our artwork while visiting the Begonia Festival.
