Year Five/Six News 

Year 5/6 students have begun to compost their fruit and veggie scraps. We look forward to creating some great compost for the school veggie patch. Composting is a sustainable practice aimed at reducing our school’s waste. The composting program will begin in the Year 5/6 classrooms and extend further throughout the school as the year progresses.

The Year 5/6 Sovereign Hill excursion is fast approaching. We will be attending Sovereign Hill on Thursday the 7th and Friday the 8th of March. Students have created their 1850’s student profile and are planning their letter home from being on the goldfields. This is a great excursion and the students will be immersed in the 1850’s culture on the Ballarat Goldfields.
