Year Three/Four News

3 /4 PLC

What a great start to the year we have had in the Brady Building! All of our students have settled into the routines and expectations of Year 3 and 4 and we are looking forward to a fun and exciting year ahead!

As part of our Respectful Relationships program, we have been learning about Emotional Literacy. Emotional Literacy refers to our ability to identify, understand and respond to a variety of emotions in different situations. We have been learning about different emotions and how each emotion is displayed through body language. We have taken part in some role play activities where we have had to identify an emotion and show that emotion to our peers through our body language. Students have then been given the opportunity to identify these emotions and link them to situations. Being able to identify emotions is an important skill to have as it provides students with cues as to how to navigate social situations.
