Introducing our Year 6 School Captains for 2024
Hi, my name is Aaron Tiong. I am privileged to be one of the School Captains this year. I live locally near our school, with my parents, my older sister and our Groodle, Tin Tin. I was born in Perth, WA, on April Fool's Day. I enjoy travelling together with my family, dining out and exploring different cuisines. I have studied at Good Shepherd since Prep and I truly believe that it is a fantastic school. Throughout my years here, I have been surrounded by many caring friends and thoughtful teachers. At Good Shepherd, we believe that it is important to respect, do our best, be responsible, care and accept and be honest. These are our school values, which I will continue to uphold as a School Leader. I look forward to having loads of fun in my final year here while working with everyone as a team to make our school an even better place for all of us.

My name is Natalia and I am your 2024 school captain. It is a privilege to be taking on this role and I can't wait for all the fun and exciting times ahead. I am a keen guitar player and very much enjoy playing with the school netball team. I love gymnastics (my favourite pastime) and I am excited to be in the school's choir this year with competitions and singing in our local church. I can't wait to meet all the new parents and students of Good Shepherd, and please come and say hello if you see me in the school yard. Wishing you all the best this year.

Hello, my name is Alicia Chan. I have the amazing opportunity to represent the school captains in our final year at Good Shepherd. As John C. Maxwell once said "a leader is one who knows the way, goes the way and shows the way". I want to emphasize that a badge doesn't define us and acknowledge that we are all leaders. By being leaders and representative of the school we must all strive to be the best version of ourselves and to treat each other with respect and empathy not just at school but in our daily lives. As a leader of Good Shepherd I will ensure everyone is treated fairly, has a voice and that no one feels alone. I am very excited for another year with all my peers at Good Shepherd and looking forward to continuing to be happy at school, make lifelong friendships and have fun whilst learning from all the wonderful teachers.

Hi everyone, my name is Hugh but you can call me Hughie. I am a very sporty kid and enjoy most subjects at school. I like to play footy, netball, run, surf, watch movies and eat!
I look up to Trent Cotchin (retired Richmond Captain) because he plays footy, is hard working and shows so much kindness and support to others. My leadership qualities are hardworking, caring, respectful and encouraging. I hope I can be someone students look up to. Go Tigers!
