Last Friday, 13 St Marys students travelled to the Colac Lawn Tennis Courts for the divisional tennis tournament. There was some fantastic tennis played. An extra special mention goes to Rachael Richardson who made the final of the girls competition and will progress to the Greater Western tournament later in the year. We wish you all the best of luck.

We managed to beat the heat of last week and run our St Mary’s Athletics day for Grades 4-6. Following on from this, we will select a number of students to represent the school next Thursday in the Colac Divisional Athletics. Students will be notified of this by the end of the week.

A reminder that our school sports takes place on Friday the 15th of March at the Lake Oval. Parents and families are most welcome and more details will follow closer to the date.

ST MARY’S NETBALL CLUB – NETBALL NEWS

Students from Grades 2 to 6 are welcome to play for St Mary’s Primary School in the Colac and District Netball Association. Games are played on Friday nights at the Eastern Reserve and the season commences in Term 2.

A meeting will be held on Tuesday the 5th of March at 3.30pm, in the school library. For students interested in playing, forms will be available from classrooms, in the school office and on electronically on Class Dojo. A parent or guardian of all intending players must attend.
