Digital Technology in  Year 6

Digital Technology in Year 6

As part of Year 6 homework, students have delved deep into the world of digital technology while exploring our school value: Respect. Homework in Year 6 is not just about completing tasks; it is a mini-project that allows our students to engage with meaningful topics.

This week, the focus has been on respect, with a touch of digital technology. Students have been tasked with designing quizzes around respect, and these quizzes are not just any ordinary quizzes; they are interactive, engaging, and designed to spark thoughtful discussions about what it means to show respect in our daily lives.

Using digital tools such as code.org, Google Slides, or Canva, students have unleashed their creativity to craft quizzes that challenge their peers to think critically about respectful behaviour.

Through this project, our Year 6 students have not only advanced their digital literacy skills but have also deepened their understanding of respect as a fundamental value within our school community.
