Prep

4/5A and Prep enjoyed a buddy library session. The 4/5A students read to the Preps with enthusiasm and expression. It is wonderful for the Prep children to have positive reading role models. The Prep children enjoyed having support to choose a great book and showed amazing listening skills.

The prep class are enjoying learning about rhythm and keeping a beat. We had the opportunity to create music with small percussion instruments. Paul was very impressed with our talent!

Take Home Readers

$1000 worth of new decodable take home readers have been purchased! These are to replace and replenish our take home reading stocks. These small but mighty books are specially designed to support beginning and emergent readers and give them the opportunity to revise and practice skills at home that have been explicitly taught at school. 

We ask that parents and students to take care of these books, using the school satchel to keep them safe in school bags and returning them each day so others can benefit from them.
