Year 9 Voluntary Service

The Year 9’s completed a 6 week Voluntary Service unit throughout Term 2 on Wednesday mornings.

The aim of this unit was for students to volunteer their time and make a difference to a community organisation. Students had to report to and follow instructions from a supervisor. We had students volunteering across 13 different organisations: 

Hamilton Field Naturalists, North Hamilton Primary School, Gray Street Primary School, Good Shephard Primary School, George Street Primary School, St Josephs Penshurst, Hamilton Cemetery Trust, Riding for the Disabled, Hamilton Wildlife Centre, Shire of the Southern Grampians, Eventide Lutheran Homes, Year 7 Hub, Baimbridge Maintenance Dept. 

I’d like to extend a huge thankyou to all of those organisations from the students and staff at Baimbridge College.
