Learning together as one community
A big thank you to everyone who was able to make our Open Classrooms earlier this term. We loved sharing our learning with you and showing you around our learning spaces for 2024.
Our classroom teachers have put together a video presentation guide which outlines level specific information about your child’s Holy Spirit journey in 2024.
This information was communicated via Dojo. If you missed the information, please find it attached below:
The National Assessment Program – Literacy and Numeracy (NAPLAN) is an annual assessment for students in Years 3, 5, 7 and 9.
It is a nationwide measure through which parents and guardians, teachers, schools, education authorities, governments and the broader community can identify how Australians are developing the literacy and numeracy skills that provide the critical foundation for other learning.
Our NAPLAN timetable for our Year 3 & 5 students is as follows:
Year 3
Year 5

The Public Demonstration Site has examples of past NAPLAN questions and examples that families may wish to look at before the NAPLAN period.

Assembly will be held each Friday at 2:30pm in the school hall. All dates for Assembly this term are on the Holy Spirit School Calendar.
Our students will visit the library each week and borrow. Students need to bring their library bag to school on their library day to borrow. The timetable for this year is below:
Library borrowing has begun for the year.
The library will also be open each Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday morning from 8:35 - 8:50am.
