Child Safety

Dear Families,

As the weather begins to improve, more of our students are walking, riding bikes or scootering to school.

We would like to remind them of the importance of road safetySome key points you might like to discuss at home include:

*Always wear a helmet when on a bike or scooter

* Make sure you cross the road using one of our school crossing points

*Ensure you walk your bike or scooter when crossing roads

* Understand the road rules

*Be aware of cars going in and out of driveways

As we begin a new term, we would also like to remind parents to be extra careful at drop-off and pick-up times. These are extremely busy times and allowing a few extra minutes can help to keep our children safe.

Thank you,

Cathy Whelan (Child Safety Officer).
