Principal's Piece 

Term 4, Week 1

Dear Parents/Carers,

Welcome back to our final term of the year, it’s hard to believe that we are in Term 4 already! We have another exciting term ahead of us with lots of activities and learning opportunities for our students. 

We kick off the term with our Art Show next week. The official opening will be next Tuesday at 5 pm until 7 pm. We will gather in the school gym for the official opening and then parents are welcome to walk through our building and view the talented artwork from our students and also our teachers. There will be student performances in our music room too, so make sure you don’t miss out on those.  The art show will continue on Wednesday and Thursday from 3:30-4:30. A special thank you to Mrs. Rupasinghe and Ms. Goga for all the work they have put into organising this event and the preparation. We thank them for exposing and engaging our students in a wide variety of art mediums and having a love of art to unlock their individual creativity.

Please check the school calendar page each week, which gives you an outline of the events that are happening this term. 

Sports Uniforms can now be ordered online via COMPASS through the Canteen tab. There is an OLPS sports uniform section which allows you place your order and pay. Uniforms will be sent home with your children on Monday and Tuesdays. You will need to customise to choose your sizes.  Any questions please contact the office. 

Congratulations to Melissa and Ben on the arrival of their daughter Mia Jessica Laing. Born on 3rd October. Both parents and baby are doing well. 

We look forward to a fantastic Term 4 filled with growth, learning and fun.
