Koonung Day

Koonung Day was a massive success this year. The year 11 Business Management students planned and operated market stalls, working in small groups to deliver some yummy food and drinks (and fun activities) to all the staff and students. This year we had 19 different stalls selling a variety of savoury foods, including nachos, sausages, noodles and burgers, and sweet treats, such as dutch pancakes, popcorn and brownies. There were some unique drink offerings, like boba tea and spiders. Most stalls were profitable, with ‘Sweet Creations’ taking out the trophy for ‘most successful business’ on the day. They sold jelly cups, custom-designed donuts and icy-poles, which were in high demand, as the weather was lovely and warm. In total, the students made $2000 in profit, which they have decided to donate to the Cancer Council. Congratulations to all students involved.
