HSIE Highlights
Year 11 Business Studies- Year 11 have been learning about the operations processes of a business as a part of the Business Management topic. They have been looking at what is involved in the transformation processes involved in making a product. In this activity they made ‘Tiny Teddy Cars’, where they took inputs and put them through a transformation process to create a final output. They discussed quality control, and where improvements could have been made before they enjoyed eating them!
Year 10 HSIE- Year 10 have started the topic ‘Rights and Freedoms’ this term. In this activity they were learning about the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. They went through each of the rights as listed in the UDHR and determined whether they were classed as a cultural or personal belief, economic, political, legal or freedom focused right. They completed a cut and paste activity where they placed each right under the category, they thought it was best suited to allow them to visualise how Rights and Freedoms were determined.
