PRIMARY LEADERS 

We’re taking this opportunity to get to know the students who have been elected as our Primary School Captains this year.  We hope you enjoy learning some fun facts and hearing what they’re looking forward to this year!

ELEANOR (PRIMARY SCHOOL CAPTAIN)

What do you want to do for a career/job when you are older?

I would like to be a librarian, a vet, a zookeeper, a professional soccer player or an artist. I'm also enjoying playing the flute this year so maybe a musician. 

Do you have any hobbies or things you like to do after school?

After school I spend time drawing, reading, playing with Lego, playing dragons, and creating cardboard weapons to fight my brothers. I like to check on the caterpillars in our lemon tree to see if they have turned into butterflies. To relax, I watch The Hobbit. 

What is your favorite Movie?

I like watching all The Hobbit and Lord of the Rings movies, as well as both the Avatar movies. My favourite genre is fantasy. 

What is your favourite Meal?

My favourite dinner is lasagna, although "brinner" is a close second, when we fry up eggs, bacon, baked beans and cheese. Chocolate cake and icecream is the best dessert!

If you could have any pet in the world, what would it be?

If this includes fantasy, it would be a dragon, otherwise I would settle for a dog. I also like cats and red pandas and ducks. 

What’s one fun fact about you that most people don’t know?

They might be surprised to know that I am interested in weapons, particularly swords. My favourite drink is dry ginger ale. 

What is your favorite subject in school, and why?

It is hard to choose between art and library as I love them both. At the library I can get books, more books, and some more books. In art I can draw, sketch, paint and use all my creativity. 

TATE (PRIMARY SCHOOL CAPTAIN)

What do you want to do for a career/job when you are older?

I would love to play in a professional sporting team. 

Do you have any hobbies or things you like to do after school?

I love all sports. I play baseball for Knox Falcons and football for Belgrave South. I love going fishing and away on holidays. 

What is your favorite Movie?

I mostly watch sport! But if I had to pick probably Top Gun. 

What is your favourite Meal?

Without a doubt sushi or subway. 

If you could have any pet in the world, what would it be?

Definitely a golden retriever, they are the best 

What’s one fun fact about you that most people don’t know?

I have four siblings, 2 brothers and 2 sisters. All younger than me. 

What is your favorite subject in school, and why?

PE is the best. I love learning about different sports and getting to try new ones. 

WILLIAM  (PRIMARY SCHOOL VICE CAPTAIN)

What do you want to do for a career/job when you are older?

I would like to be a microbiologist or a charity worker in a developing country 

Do you have any hobbies or things you like to do after school?

I love reading and baking French pastry

My Octopus Teacher

What is your favourite Meal?

Sashimi 

If you could have any pet in the world, what would it be?

A tamarin

What’s one fun fact about you that most people don’t know?

My dog can do yoga

What is your favorite subject in school, and why?

My favourite subject is art because I love being creative 

SIENNA (PRIMARY SCHOOL VICE CAPTAIN)

What do you want to do for a career/job when you are older?

I would love to be singing and dancing in the theatre because I love performing and making people happy.

Do you have any hobbies or things you like to do after school?

I enjoy playing my guitar and the piano. I also love to spend time with my family and friends. 

What is your favorite Movie?

My favourite movie is Moana - it is a good memory from when I was little.

What is your favourite Meal?

My favourite meal is anything Japanese, I really love sushi and salmon.

If you could have any pet in the world, what would it be?

I love my toy cavoodle but if I could have any other pet it would be a Kelpie or a miniature goat.

What’s one fun fact about you that most people don’t know?

A fun fact would be I love to travel and learning to speak local languages, I'm currently learning Japanese. 

What is your favorite subject in school, and why?

My favourite subjects at school are English and Math because I love writing and solving problems.
