BREAKING  GROUND: New SLC Centre

BY PETER CLIFFE (PRINCIPAL)

You may have noticed that temporary fencing has been erected around the vacant land to your left as you enter the school property. This area is where construction is about to begin on our new Senior Learning Centre. It has been a long process to get to the point where we finally have a planning and building permit and have appointed a builder, Becon Constructions, to commence this project.

The new Senior Learning Centre is a purpose-built, two-level facility designed to enrich the educational journey of our senior students. Thoughtfully planned to support learning, study, and collaboration, the building will feature eleven modern classrooms and spacious central hubs on each level, offering flexible spaces for individual work, group projects, meetings, and more.

Student amenities include an equipped kitchen, restrooms on both levels, dedicated staff offices, meeting rooms, a large locker bay, and a landscaped courtyard with an amphitheatre. This outdoor area will create a seamless connection between the new centre, the main circular driveway, and the existing TTC building.

We look forward to watching it take shape over the coming months!
