In the top twenty, what a team we became, with hustle, heart, and a hunger for game. From buzzer to buzzer, in defence and attack, Our squad brought the fire—there's no holding back!

 

Round One we faced Bathurst, the pressure was tight, A battle that raged all day and all night. Basket for basket, we stayed in the fight, But our girls were sigma—just built different, right?

 

Game Two, Karabara, now that was a scene, Their coach on the sideline was turning all green. “Block out! Block out!” he screamed with dismay, But our girls kept slaying, no delay in the play. In the fourth, we slipped, just a little slide, Still, we walked off with main character pride.

 

Round Three was Menai, and they brought the heat, But we matched it with pace—no sign of defeat. Fast breaks were rare, the defence was booked, But we made them sweat, we had them cooked!

 

And now—brace yourself—because this is great: We’ve made it through to the STATE TOP EIGHT! From a small little school, we stood tall and proud, Serving pure clutch energy to every crowd.

 

Now meet the squad, each a vibe, each a star, They slayed on the court and raised the bar.

Sam was rejection—absolute sigma, With steals so smooth, she caused basketball enigma. Her passes were fire, her court vision clear, If you had the ball, Sam was near—you should fear.

 

Ella, our clown, had us cracking all day, Jokes mid-dribble? That’s elite-level play. But make no mistake—she guards like a beast, With hustle that never, ever ceased.

 

Bellah turned it on—full-blown highlight reel, Her left-hand lay-ups? Straight-up unreal. With ankle breakers and slay-level flair, She had defenders gasping for air.

 

Gemma was strong, so calm, never shook, Passing so clean it belonged in a book. Her lay-ups were silky, her game full of glow, On the court she moved like a pro in a show.

 

Sarah? Oh, she’s got that dog, Took on any player like it’s just a jog. Scoring from the line, asserting her rule, She played every game like a boss in the duel.

 

Charlie was chill, calm and collected, Ran like the wind, and always connected. Pouncing on loose balls, defence tight, Never cooked, always played it right.

 

Hannah was strong—like “someone-just-raged” strong, With steal after steal, she sang her own song. On the bench she hollered, pure hype machine, Keeping the vibes 100, you know what I mean?

 

Tameika brought pressure and constant grind, Always in practice, sharpening her mind. Her defence? A lockdown, her energy? Bright— Girl was low-key cracked every single night.

 

Zoe? Iconic. Brought snacks to the bench, Crackers in hand, never sat on the fence. Though slightly crimpled, her signals were gold, Certified slay, brave and bold.

 

And Skye, our sunshine, a walking delight, Cartwheeled to court with pure hype in sight. With lollies and love, she kept us on track, A walking W—no cap, no lack.

 

Each girl brought something, not one was the same, But together they played a legendary game. With heart, hype, and full team devotion, They gave this tournament  main character motion.

 

👏 So give it up for the Basketball Girls—no debate, They slayed their way to the State Top Eight!
