Principals Message

We are thrilled to reflect on the fantastic success of this year’s athletics carnival, held last week. The event was a wonderful opportunity for students to showcase their athletic abilities and school spirit. From track events to field competitions, students demonstrated remarkable enthusiasm and sportsmanship. Each participant contributed to the vibrant atmosphere, making the day enjoyable for everyone involved.
A special congratulations goes out to Gillenbah House, who emerged as the overall champions of the carnival. Their impressive performances across various events, combined with strong team spirit, set a high standard for the competition. The determination and teamwork displayed by the students from Gillenbah were commendable, and we are proud of their achievement.
As we look forward to the next challenge, we wish the best of luck to all students who will be representing our school at the upcoming zone carnival. This event will provide an excellent platform for our athletes to compete against other schools, and we are excited to see how they will showcase their skills. Your hard work, training, and dedication to your sports have not gone unnoticed, and we are confident that you will make us proud on this larger stage.
We would also like to congratulate to Year 12 for their exceptional fundraising efforts at the athletics carnival. The BBQ they organised was not only a delicious addition to the day but also a great way to bring the school community together. The variety of tasty slices they prepared were a hit with students and staff. Their efforts raised significant funds that will go towards their chosen charity. Thank you, Year 12, for your commitment and hard work!
Lastly, we want to remind parents and families about our school’s policy regarding drop-offs. If you need to deliver anything to your child during school hours, please come through the front office. This procedure is in place to ensure the safety and security of all students, as handing items over the fence can create confusion and potential risks. We appreciate your cooperation in helping us maintain a safe and organised environment for everyone.
