Mother’s and Special Person’s Day Stall

Thank you to Genevieve and Melissa for organising a very successful Mother’s and Special Person’s Day Stall on Friday. There were many happy children as they shopped for the perfect gift for their special person. A big thank you also to David for offering to help get dads together to run the stall and to all the dads who came down to help.

We hope all the Mums, Grandmothers, and other Special People in your children’s lives enjoy the little gifts this weekend!

Election Day Cake Stall Wrap Up

The busy PIC weekend continued on Saturday for the Election Day Cake Stall. We only had two weeks to put it together, and we weren’t sure what the outcome would be, but thanks to our wonderful school community, we had a very successful cake stall.

Thank you to all the families who spent hours baking various goodies for the stall. Thank you to all the helpers who helped sell the goodies and thank you to all the families who came out to support us on the day. The church was impressed at our community coming out to support in such strong numbers; they noticed a significant uptick in voter numbers coming through this year, and they attributed it to our presence on the day. Thank you for your support!

Father’s and Special Person’s Day Stall Help Required

We are looking for two people to organise the Father’s and Special Person’s Day Stall this year. This will require sourcing the gifts and coordinating helpers for the day. If you are able to take on this project, please get in touch. The PIC will provide guidance and help you with what’s required. Without two leads, we may not be able to run this event this year.

PIC Fundraising Update

We are still finalising the exact numbers from last week's event, but so far this year, our fundraising efforts have generated:

Easter Raffle: $1,230

Mother’s Day Stall: approx. $1200

Election Day Cake Stall: $1214

Uniform Shop: $1,600

Total Funds raised so far: $5,244

That is enough to help tick off some items from the teachers’ and SRC’s wishlists. We will be able to buy two drying racks for artwork, and are well on our way towards being able to pay for some long-coveted soccer goals.
