From the Classroom

Year 6 ANZAC Day Ceremony
On Tuesday 29th of April the Year 6 students travelled to Templestowe to participate in the Rotary Club of Templestowe's ANZAC Day service. We felt very privileged to be a part of the service and were honoured to lay a wreath in remembrance of the people who have sacrificed their lives for our country.
The Day the Chairs Quit in Years 5 and 6!
After spending the week learning about why the crayons had quit, there was an unusual sight when the students walked in this morning. Now, the chairs had quit! Students had to make do with what they had in the classroom until they wrote a persuasive letter to the chairs to get them back. Take a look at the day the chairs quit:

We read the letter and made do with what we had in the classroom:
Then we started writing a persuasive letter back to the chairs, convincing them to come back:
Take a look at some of the letters, what do you think, should the chairs come back?
