Bloom Ball Project - by Kaley

Hello parents and carers. This term in Reading we are making Bloom Balls based on a book called Wandi. After reading a chapter together in class, we complete a new Bloom Ball panel to practise a reading skill. So far, we have made a new front cover for the book (practising visualising), we have made panels about what we already know about dingoes (practising activating prior knowledge), and a panel with facts and opinions about dingoes and eagles. 

District Athletics - by Eva

Over the last couple of weeks we have done some athletics events. First was the District Track Athletics, which included 800m, 200m, 100m, 70m and 50m races, included relays and hurdles.  Next we had the District Field Athletics, and there was discuss, high jump, long jump and shotput. A highlight for me was having fun with friends, and I was really proud of getting 3rd place in the 100m.

Mother's Day Morning - by Ms. Lisa

This morning we were blessed to celebrate all of the amazing women in our lives. We shared a beautiful whole school mass thanking mothers, sisters, aunties, grandmothers and all of the other wonderful ladies who nurture, protect and shelter us. Thank you to those families who were able to spend some time in the learning space, it was lovely to have you! And for those who weren't able to make it, you can expect some lovely bookmarks and drawings from your special young humans.
