Prep

We’re busy bees in Prep C!

In the morning, students start their day with Literacy rotations. These involve Reading Eggs on the iPad, initial sound revision, blending three letter words, as well as reading words and matching them to the pictures. 

In Maths we have been learning about money. Students were divided into shopkeepers and customers. Shop keepers set up a stall and the customers had some money that they could use to buy items. Students spent their money very quickly and had so much fun!  

We have started learning some tricky sounds this term. Have a look at how clever some of the Prep C students are at writing! 

In reading we have been learning all about rhyming words and completing a retell of different stories. 

Students in Prep C have had a great start back to school in Term 2, they are making lots of friends, and displaying a confidence and enthusiasm toward their learning. We can’t wait for all the fun that’s yet to come!
