Team Kids

Dear Families,

We’re having a great time here at Team Kids. The children have been enjoying sports, crafts, and a variety of indoor and outdoor activities. Cooking club has continued for those who signed up. We have enjoyed baking scones, chocolate cake and making fairy bread. We also have tried some new dishes for afternoon tea, butter chicken which was a hit and tacos! Yum!

Team Kids has some exciting and fun experiences coming up this month. Lunch time legends is being held on the 22nd of May at lunch time. We are inviting children to come and select a rock they can paint or decorate and write a meaningful message on which we will then place around the gardens of the school. As children enjoy their day and parents, teachers and visitors navigate their way throughout the school they can read the rocks with the intention of brightening someone’s day. Unfortunately, we have limited time and rocks so this activity we only be offered to certain year levels. More information on this will be provided closer to the date. Also, next month is the Winter Disco. We’ll be enjoying party food, games, and music. So come along and show us your dance moves. 

There is a pupil free day on the 11th June and Team Kids will be running our program from 6:30am-6:30pm. Bookings are essential and available on our website. Breakfast, morning tea and afternoon tea is provided but please make sure you bring a healthy lunch.

Finally, we have accumulated a lot of lost property so please don’t hesitate to come have a look. We are located inside the Cape Centre. We look forward to seeing you at our upcoming events.
