Happy Term 2 and what a fantastic first few weeks we have had in 2D!

In 2D, we've been on an exciting journey of growth and development, thanks to our collaboration with Sarah Roney. Together, we've honed our skills in persistence, mastering the art of persevering in the face of challenges. We've also delved into the realm of effective group work, learning how to synergize our efforts for greater success. And let's not forget about discovering our superpowers, where we've become strength detectives, uncovering strengths within ourselves and others, those unique character strengths that make us shine. With these tools in hand, we're empowered to navigate life's twists and turns with resilience and grace.

In numeracy, our focus has been on sharpening our addition skills, with particular emphasis on practicing regrouping. Through engaging activities and exercises, we've been practising the art of combining numbers efficiently and accurately.

In reading, our exploration has led us to delve into the world of inference. We've been crafting inferences about various texts, predicting outcomes, and even deciphering the emotions of characters within stories.

In writing, we've embarked on a journey of persuasion. Learning the art of persuasive writing, we've been discovering and using various techniques to convince and sway our audience. So, Mum, Dad and the special people in our lives, be prepared for some compelling arguments coming your way soon!
